Florida dentist accused of bludgeoning health practitioner with club on ritzy golfing study course

A Florida dentist who advertises his “light-weight touch” was arrested Sunday and accused of savagely attacking a health care provider at a ritzy country club in Lake County.

Dentist Eddie Orobitg, 52, was golfing with his son when he reportedly grew to become enraged just after spotting Joseph Sivak, a physician, and his wife going for walks on the golfing cart path at Harbor Hills Country Club about 60 miles northwest of Orlando.

“It is supposed for golf carts, and it is a rule of the golf class,” Orobitg allegedly chastised Sivak, according to an arrest affidavit received by Fox News Digital. 

“I are living listed here. I know the guidelines,” Sivak can be read responding in the track record of a 911 contact.

Right after the two guys started arguing, Orobitg allegedly swung his club at Sivak’s leg.

The melee speedily escalated with Orobitg allegedly bludgeoning Sivak on the aspect and back of the head with the club as Sivak attempted to protect himself with a water bottle, the affidavit says.

In a hysterical 911 simply call, Sivak’s spouse can be listened to intermittently shrieking. “They just won’t cease!” she exclaimed. “They’re combating with golfing clubs, kicking the s— out of each individual other!” 

Lake County Sheriff’s Business office deputies arrived and discovered Sivak lined in blood, and “it appeared his ear lobe was ripped,” the doc alleges. Sivak suffered broken ribs and a fractured cheekbone and needed stitches to repair service his ear. 

“I just about died, that is the matter that terrified me,” Sivak explained to FOX 35. “Just heard anyone screaming, swearing at us, coming up really quick powering us.”

Deputies questioned Orobitg, who provided a different variation of the confrontation. He instructed authorities he had requested the few to get out of the way, and Sivak bought in his deal with, shoved him then spat on him.

Sivak, the dentist alleged, struck him in the deal with with a drinking water bottle, then “attempted to get his golfing golf equipment,” which he considered he was heading to use to beat his son.

He only smacked the doctor’s leg in self-protection, he reported. But the doctor’s spouse and the boy stated the brawl erupted soon after Orobitg spat in Sivak’s encounter first.

Orobitg, who served in the U.S. Navy, appeared astonished when deputies arrested him, according to entire body camera footage acquired by Fox Information Digital.

The family dentist was booked at the Lake County Jail on a felony demand of aggravated battery. He was released on $5,000 bond, records present. His lawyer could not instantly be determined.
